Terms of use

Last updated: 25 August 2026

These terms of use set the rules for using the Raggli service. They form an integral part of the contract with 404 AFK, alongside the terms of sale and the DPA, and are accepted with them at account creation.

Account and access

Access requires creating an account with a valid email address, confirmed through a link sent to it. The customer is responsible for keeping their credentials and public integration key confidential.

The widget only answers from the domains the customer has explicitly allowed in their account.

Customer obligations

By running the service on their site, the customer undertakes to:

  • hold the necessary rights over the documents they upload, and an appropriate legal basis where those documents contain personal data;
  • not upload unlawful content or special-category data under the GDPR without an appropriate legal basis;
  • inform their site's visitors of the chat's presence and of the processing of their messages, in their own privacy policy. 404 AFK provides, in the Integration tab of their account, a ready-to-use template, and the widget's welcome message can be edited to that end; the customer remains free to write their own, for which they remain responsible as controller;
  • not remove, hide or make misleading the notice, displayed by the widget, telling visitors they are talking to an assistant powered by artificial intelligence.

AI-generated answers

The widget's answers are generated automatically by an artificial-intelligence model, from the customer's content alone, without human review. The widget says so to visitors from the start of the conversation, in line with the European AI Act.

A generated answer may be incomplete or inaccurate. The service is designed to decline questions outside the scope of the supplied documents, but that behaviour is not a warranty. Any critical information must be checked against its source.

Acceptable use

The customer undertakes not to misuse the service, in particular through massive automated requests intended to exhaust its resources, or attempts to circumvent the isolation between organizations.

The service's quotas and rate limits are part of its normal operation; circumventing them is a breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

The service, its code, its interface and its documentation belong to 404 AFK. Subscribing grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, limited to the duration of the subscription.

Uploaded documents remain the customer's property. 404 AFK claims no rights over them and uses them only to provide the service, under the conditions of the DPA.

Availability and changes

404 AFK uses reasonable means to keep the service available, without any contractual uptime guarantee. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of a third-party provider.

The service evolves; changes to the contractual documents follow the procedure described in the terms of sale (notice period, right to cancel, version archiving).

Suspension

In the event of a serious breach — unlawful content, attempts to circumvent tenant isolation, abusive use endangering the platform — 404 AFK may suspend access to the service, after notifying the customer except in a clear emergency.

The suspension is lifted as soon as the breach stops. It does not suspend payment obligations and does not deprive 404 AFK of the right to terminate the contract if the breach persists.
